Redlands Hexcrawl

Somewhere on the frontier, beyond the Troll Hills and before the baked deserts of the Angry River Basin, the soil turns a deep rust-red. There sits a lowland steppe that ranges from desert mesa in the northwest to well-forested alligator-infested river-bottom in the southeast.  These 'Redlands', sparsely settled, hold the Southerners' decaying farming colony of Centralia, countless deer and bison, and a handful of far-flung stockades that watch the Rust River for the reivers and savage tribes that lurk across the border.
